Johnstown Pointe Transitional Care Facility Approved

Johnstown Pointe, a new 81 bed transitional care facility, received its final approval from the Village Planning & Zoning Commission on February 25th.

Construction will begin in the spring. The new facility will be located at 383 W. Coshocton Street.

The proposed structure will be approximately 58,000 square feet and will be constructed as a single story, protected wood frame building.

The proposed structure will feature a variety of roof forms and massing in order to break up the visual impact and enhance the residential character of the building. Exterior materials will include cultured stone, brick, split face block, siding and EIFS in natural stone and gray coloring. Materials have been selected for durability and visual aesthetics. A split face block base and limestone water table will extend around the perimeter of the building. Brick will be featured to full height on the smaller gables with siding and EIFS on the larger gable.
