Village Offices and Buildings Are Closed Until May 4th.

Village Manager Jim Lenner has announced that the closing of Village buildings and offices will be extended for another month. This coincides with Governor DeWine’s decision to keep Ohio’s schools closed through Friday May 1st because of the COVID-19 emergency. Village Offices will be closed to the public until Monday May 4th pending any new direction from the Governor.

During the extended closing period, residents and businesses can use the Villages night deposit slot to make water bill payments. The deposit slot is located beside the entrance door. Water shut offs have been suspended until further notice. Residents and businesses are still responsible for their water bill. The deadline for filing City income tax returns without penalty has been moved back to July 15th.

During the period all Village offices can be reached by calling 740.967.3177 or emailing at info@johnstownohio.org. Direct lines and applications for Village permits can be found on the Village’s web site at www.johnstownohio.org. Information on how to pay water bills are also available on the Village’s web site. #flattenthecurve

Sincerely,

Jim Lenner
Village Manger
